So... I rewatched Thor 4 for some reason, and I couldn't help but think...

"WAIT, IS JANE EVEN WORTHY?!"

Sure, It's comic accurate, but is Jane worthy like Captain America was in Endgame?

And because I'm me,

WE'RE GOING TO COMPARE JANE AND CAP'S ACTIONS TO HOLD MJOLNIR, BABY!

Before the events of the movie, Jane Foster’s connection with Mjolnir was established. Flashbacks reveal her relationship with Thor and how they grew apart.

During this time, Thor asked Mjolnir to always protect Jane, creating a deep bond between them.

When Jane discovered she had stage four cancer, she felt a pull toward Mjolnir. This led her to New Asgard, where the broken pieces of the hammer were kept.

To everyone’s surprise, the shattered Mjolnir reformed when Jane approached it, transforming her into the Mighty Thor. The hammer seemed to sense her hopelessness and need, choosing her as its new wielder.

Mjolnir’s ability to repair itself showcases its extraordinary power. Despite being broken, it regained its form and granted Jane the strength of Thor.

Thor’s earlier request to Mjolnir to protect Jane played a crucial role. The oath created a lasting connection between Thor and the hammer.

Even though it shattered once more during the film, Mjolnir’s loyalty to Thor allowed it to return and empower Jane.

...That doesn't make sense according to the past lore of the MCU.

NOW CAP!

Worthiness and Character:

In “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” there’s a lighthearted moment when the Avengers take turns trying to lift Mjolnir. Cap nudges it slightly, surprising everyone. However, he doesn’t fully lift it, possibly out of respect for Thor’s ego.

Later, during the battle against Thanos, Cap, in a desperate situation, reaches for Mjolnir. To everyone’s astonishment, he lifts it with ease. This suggests that Cap has always been worthy but chose not to wield it fully until that critical moment.

Cap’s unwavering sense of character, humility, and selflessness likely contributed to his worthiness. He embodies the qualities that Mjolnir seeks in its wielder.

Thor’s Acceptance and Growth:

Thor’s journey has been complex. He lost Mjolnir in “Thor: Ragnarok” when Hela destroyed it. He then acquired Stormbreaker in “Avengers: Infinity War.”

In “Avengers: Endgame,” Thor and Cap share a moment of understanding. Thor acknowledges that Cap is worthy, saying, “I knew it.” This acceptance reflects Thor’s growth and acceptance of his own imperfections.

By allowing Cap to wield Mjolnir, Thor acknowledges that the hammer isn’t just about physical strength but also about character and virtue.

Passing the Torch to Jane Foster:

In “Thor: Love and Thunder,” Jane Foster (played by Natalie Portman) becomes Mighty Thor. She wields Mjolnir effortlessly. (Still makes no sense.)

Thor’s use of Mjolnir again could be tied to passing the hammer to Jane. If he regains access to it, it proves he’s still worthy.

Rather than keeping Mjolnir for himself, Thor might willingly pass the mantle to Jane, allowing her to carry on the legacy.

Moments of Growth and Acceptance:

Thor using Mjolnir again could symbolize his acceptance of who he truly is—a god of thunder and protector of the realms.

It’s a moment of growth for Thor, emphasizing that worthiness isn’t just about physical strength but also about inner qualities.

BUT WHY DID JANE GET IT EASILY WHEN CAP STRUGGLED?! IT MAKES NO SENSE!
