As an ( ex ) fan of melanie martinez, when i was younger I found out k-12 and the crybaby album existed and it fully interested me. I fully related to k-12 because school was hard for me since I hopped from school to school, had a few pdfiles in them and I was bullied for the way I acted ( I stutter alot and sometimes I can be cringe😧 )

but I genuinely do not get what portals was supposed to be about.. What happened to crybaby's death?? Melanie make it make sense. And I'm sorry but that alien costume thing also looked ugly I was afraid of saying it awhile back then cause I felt like I was gonna get death threats😓 but now I'm not afraid of them anymore so like, er. Yeah

So what I got from portals was "the death of crybaby" but why? Crybaby and K-12 both had morals and actual plots to them, Crybaby was about traumatic childhood, K-12 was about society ( basically ) , but I don't get what the plot for portals was even for. It felt like just some kind of crashgrab from melanie. ( also why tf is the merch so expensive )

That moon cycle song from the portals album was ass. Why was she talking about a period.. ??? I just don't get it, I srsly do not. The only good songs from portal that I liked listening to was EVIL and DEATH, pretty much the only two that were catchy for me.

Melanie pls hire the old writers back they were sm better. Idk what ur new writers were on cause wtf is moon cycle.
