SOLUNE is going to be a very large game and therefore will probably take a few years to make.
SOLUNE will most likely be three chapters long. Each chapter being a direct continuation of the previous.
Story
There will be a major update in the story. The doc with the start of chapter 1 is found here. This game will be a direct continuation of UNDERTALE.
Music
We already have some tracks (all the ones not with "... (Piano)" will be in the game), but we are going to update those songs. The apps I use for my music are as follows:
Signal (MIDI files)
MuseScore (Previous main, now used for sheet music)
BandLab (Main)
All tracks will be updated to be on BandLab.
Piano versions will not be in the game.
The soundtrack will NOT be bound by UNDERTALE (meaning I will have more orchestral songs. Don't worry, there still will be synth). Whatever the case, this soundtrack will be HUGE.
I am making a very important song. It will be done soon.
Coding
We are using GameMaker with the Undertale Engine Ultra Modified by @JustTeam , which is supremely underrated! The engine is very easy to use and saves a lot of time not having to find out why something's not working, since the engine is so well intergraded. I'd say coding is still in the planning phase, and less than 1% done.
Art/sprites
We don't have much art right now, but I do have a few sprites to share! I will post them in the following updates.
Team
We have an ever-growing team. And would like to extend it anyway!
We are taking applications here (we are mostly looking for sprite artists, but we take everyone!).
This is the currant Team SOLUNE:
Austin McDonald (me): Lead designer, lead composer/musician, manager, Lead Writer, director, programmer, marketing.
Jack Moore: Assistant composer/musician
Samuel Jowers: Assistant composer/musician
Nathan Jowers: Assistant composer/musician
Rowan Woodbridge-O'Brien: Lead Sprite Creator
Walker Moore: Lead Sprite Creator, percussion
Cliffard Seals: Build Tester
Gideon Conrad: Build Tester
Caleb Rodgers: Assistant Writer
Lexie McDonald: Assistant Writer
Elijah Burke: Level Design
Conclusion
SOLUNE will be a very large game. UNDERTALE has inspired me to reach my dreams and make my first game. My team is great, and I truly could not do this without them. Be sure to visit undertale.com for the best game ever!
