For those who don't know, when I first started teasing this game, I replied to some messages saying that it was 'a revival of something that never saw the light of day.' It just occurred to me that I never properly explained what on earth I was talking about, so here's the context:
Weekend at Fazbear Storage actually dates back to 2023. It was originally conceived as a low-quality nostalgia game. I planned to use the Splink models, weathering them similarly to their current look, and the office would have been modeled from scratch. Given my modeling skills back then, it would have looked terrible.
Frankly, I'm glad this game didn't survive past the idea/concept stage, as it would have been awful. Mostly because I was still making games like these at the time

...Yeah, all I remember is Bonnie and Chica would approach from the left and right respectively. You'd check on them in a way similar to FNAF 4, by clicking on the doorways. That would allow you to run up to the doorways & flash your light, unlike the current turning mechanic which is way better.
When they got really close, you had to turn the light off, and they'd magically disappear after a few seconds. To prevent you from keeping the light off the whole night, there was a hole in the middle of the office that Freddy would crawl out of if the light was off.
Foxy literally didn't exist; my brain just didn't think about him. So, for two whole nights (no hard mode was planned), you'd just go left and right, turn off the light, and then turn it on... Yeah, not very good. The only interesting thing is that it was inspired by WEEKEND_, a very epic fangame from back in the day.
While still very much inspired by that game, the new version is also trying to be more unique and establish its own distinct identity.
The reason I decided to bring this back was because I thought the concept was still cool and could be executed better with my new skills. You can probably already see from previous teasers I've shown that a lot was brought back, just simply improved. Foxy is now also finally a character in this. Overall, the concept and ideas are the exact same; they are just executed better. And instead of being nostalgia bait, the game goes for a more weird and uncanny, low-quality FNAF-accurate style.

The new version does have some new content, but it's very small, and overall it just carries over polished content from the old version.
I may update the description to include that this is a revival, but in case I don't, consider this the context. Bye!
