Starting off, when the new protagonist's name was revealed to be Cassie, there's an obvious connection that can be made to Princess Quest and the tale of Cassie trying to put an end to Glitchtrap. At least that is partially what I had expected to happen.

Glitchtrap's reveal in this new sentient form, dangerous while using AR, really creeped me out. Of course, if we put on our rose-colored glasses, we can pretend there are no malware monsters trying to corrupt us lol.

There was even a reveal of Cassie's sword from Princess Quest, which I got excited thinking I could pick it up and defeat Glitchtrap, but my dreams were quickly shot down. XD

When the DLC began, I knew this couldn't be the actual Gregory, throughout my gameplay I brought up the Mimic quite a few times. Despite not getting to that point in the FNaF books yet, I had a basic understanding of what it meant. The story is a bit predictable in that sense.

Exploring the environment was very cool, revisiting the Pizzaplex that is now in ruin. There were times I was confused as to what the canon ending could be. However, after studying the environment you can tell Gregory and Glamrock Freddy made it out safe.

Especially when I came across a Freddy and saw 'PROTOTYPE' written under its foot. I was like this isn't our buddy our pal Glamrock Freddy.

Loved the environment design. Especially with the AR effects. There were some unexpected reveals that were pretty fun to come across.

Some things I really loved:

The story of how Monty became a Glamrock star was adorable.

Roxy's bond with Cassie being revealed was pretty sweet to see. Some people may feel it was out of character, but it made sense to me. Cassie is one of the many children that visited the Pizzaplex and also had their 'Special Day" (birthday party). Cassie I suspose stood out the most because she was alone with no friends. Cassie bonded with Roxy and felt like she made a genuine connection. Roxy is her favorite character because of this.

There was also another cardboard cutout of Gregory and Cassie. Cassie was sitting and crying on the floor and Gregory consoled her with a hand on her shoulder. I assume this is when they met. This was most likely on her Birthday. Sad that she didn't have any friends, Gregory offered his friendship.

It was so unexpected to hear Roxy apologize for confusing some other child to Gregory, but she recognized her.

This was a bit sad, but it was cool to hear how Roxy remembered details of Cassie's birthday. It also confirmed Cassie is 11. She's number 1, twice. This makes total sense to me. Fazbear Entertainment, despite being quite corrupt, creates animatronic characters to entertain children. With such an advancement in technology, making children feel like these characters are their best pals is their number 1 priority in their business. This is ultimately what sells families to bring their children to these sorts of attractions. Children can form emotional connections to these characters. Cassie was upset when she thought Roxy had "died."

I think back to Phone Guy, his favorite character was Foxy I believe.

Since Cassie disabled the security node in Roxy, I also assumed she would stay powered down. Perhaps forever. Roxy actually defending Cassie against the Mimic was a cool moment I admit haha. Also hearing her voice at the end makes me raise an eyebrow after the ending.

Now, is there a good explanation for Roxy still being powered on? I'm not sure either. We can probably just say love brought her back lol.

There were some things I was disappointed by in this DLC:

With Cassie being able to use Augmented Reality, which reminds me so much of the short story "Under Construction" in the Tales from the Pizzaplex book 1, I expected Cassie to start losing her mind. It was sort of implied there was corruption going on in moments she couldn't remove her mask. Also, where is Vanny?! The fact that her mask was high tech is crazy to me. I'm assuming she contacted this Glitchtrap entity, and she probably couldn't remove the mask after a certain point. Who knows?

I really wanted a reveal of Glamrock Bonnie, not just posters, drawings, and other props. Since Cassie was granted the ability to cross new paths, some even imaginary, I was hoping to discover a live Glamrock Bonnie or Bonnie in shambles.

Instead, a cardboard cutout tale is told. Bonnie basically passed on the torch, so to speak. This begs the question - was Bonnie forced to decommission and we are all misunderstanding Monty Gator? Could Monty actually be upset that his idol was removed from the band instead? Is this why Monty holds resentment for Glamrock Freddy? My brain is going nuts coming up with different theories.

As I mentioned before, not being able to play the role of Cassidy from Princess Quest was a bit disappointing. I wanted to end Glitchtrap once and for all.

Now onto some WTF moments..

WTF Vanny?! Where are you? Did you die?

WTF he's trapped in this computer..thing...XD

WTF you just spoiled the ending!!!

WTF there's an army of music men!!

WTF how are you gonna clean this place up? Why are you so wholesome actually?

WTF Iron Giant wannabe, but it's actually pretty cool so lemme stop lol.

WTF just why?

WTF Badbear? Made me think we would see the real Glamrock, but aggressive.

Double WTF? A mouth for a chest...ok ok...

The ending:

I gotta say, I did not expect Gregory to betray his friend like that. How in the hell did he even manage to sabotage the elevator like that if he isn't even in the Pizzaplex anymore?

First of all, where the hell is he? Why does he know so much? I am becoming more convinced that he isn't human.

Second of all, the Mimic is now in the games. Who designed the security nodes and is Burntrap over with now?

Where's the Blob?

If there are more endings to this, I will be working on those because I need a better ending than this betrayal!!

One detail that stuck with me..

Maybe I am looking too much into it, but Cassie mentioned her father had a wrench just like the Faz-wrench. Is her father a technician? Did he work for Fazbear Entertainment? Has he been involved in security or creating the Mimic? Who knows?
