Some kind of review thing on Next Week at Freddy's

Hi users who happened to spot this low effort ass post. For my dear fans, this isn't gonna be like the previous review on Night Watch at Freddie's where I'm gonna cover the game's mechanics and etc because I'm like super lazy. This would only cover my thoughts. Anyways, let's just get as to why I think Next Week at Freddy's is so good.

My honest take is that NWAF is the absolute best FNAF 1 remake ever made (if not counting Friedrich but I think Friedrich is just inspired by FNAF 1 rather than being a remake), honestly quite criminal how overlooked it really is.

The control panel is genius, this is the game's secret sauce. The animatronics could choose to be simple door character or sabotage you. They'll go for your compressor (which kills all your remote doors), attack the server room (bye-bye cameras), or even take down the entire power grid. So you're not just managing power; you're managing a whole building's infrastructure under siege. It turns the game into a frantic, real-time management sim, and it's absolutely brilliant.

Speaking of the animatronics, They have now grown actual braincells! They ain"t simple at all and are a FNAF Game by themselves if i'm being honest. Each one has multiple, distinct attack routes. For instance, Freddy, Bonnie, or Chica can go into Pirate's Cove to wake up Foxy, who will then charge down the left or right hall depending on who activated him (Bonnie means Foxy left, Chica means Foxy right, and Freddy is a 50/50), to counter this simply close the door on Foxy, but warning, you need to be astronomically fast in order to make it in time to shut the door on Foxy, Foxy would drain a lot of power when he hits the door though so to prevent the Fazbear Gang from ever telling Foxy to wake the hell up for job time, just use the shock button on whoever tries to wake up Foxy in order to make them not disturb Foxy's sleep.

I also want to talk about the goddamn graphics cause HOLY SHIT THEY LOOK ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The Unreal Engine 5 glow-up is so real it's insane. The animatronic redesigns still look like their original designs but they also manage to look distinct somehow.

My only flaws with this game are the Post-Night sections and the Night Length. The Post Night sections are literally just a boring walking simulator because of the fact there's no threats active, kind of reminds me of the Post-Night sections in Chica's Party World: REBAKED, where they were also the main flaws of an otherwise pretty good fan game! And the night length being 12 minutes is a bit too much. They could've make it shorter a bit but otherwise this fan game is a masterpiece that gets a solid 9/10 from me. And is a S tier fan game for me and definitely one of the best FNAF Fan Games of 2024. One of the most creative FNAF Fan Games where quite literally every single mechanic is useful.

Also this post is more descriptive and detailed than my usual posts. Mostly because I want to share my full and honest take on games.

Edit: I remember during my first playthrough I got absolutely terrified after I saw how hulkingly terrifying Bonnie was in the doorway. Another thing to note is that this fan game truly emphasizes how tall the animatronics are in reality. I know in canon the FNAF animatronics are canonically somewhere 9 feet tall but none of the fan games or hell, the official games showcased that on the same level NWAF has. I also died 3 times on Night 1 on my first playthrough, I'm not kidding.

Last month I showed a small preview of a pre-overhaul post-night section from Evergreen. Here's another one. Some props here are being reused for the new Vault levels. (2022-2023)
