Something thah confuses me.

Why did Tyler retcon Night 6 in TRTF 1 (AKA Purple Guy trying to kill us)?

I know that it's nothing important in the grand scheme of things, but I'm simply questioning it.

Especially since this detail was kept in most versions of the lore.
