On this day in January 11, 2028, Sonic and Catherine were awaiting the arrival of their 8th child(3rd pregnancy), but what awaited them is they’re having fraternal twins! Another daughter and very first son!

After a night out of dinner to celebrate Lucas “Luke” Hendricks’ promotion as producer of “Good Morning Mobius”, Sonic and Catherine head to their master bedroom to get ready for bed. 

(King) Ogilvie Maurice “Sonic” Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: Wow, Cathy, you really had a big appetite when you’ve ordered so many food at the restaurant.

(Queen) Catherine Nye-Frankenstein: *nine months pregnant with her eighth child* Come on, I was just eating for two. You know, the baby really wanted everything in store for so many meals on the menu like a platter of pepperoni pizza, a large bowl of spaghetti and meatballs, 50 chili dogs and a hot fudge sundae.

(King) Ogilvie Maurice “Sonic” Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: Okay, why don’t we get some shut eye. *rubbing his wife’s belly* At any moment, this lil’ rascal or rascalette will be chasing their way to be born. *kissed his wife in the cheek* Night, Cath.

(Queen) Catherine Nye-Frankenstein: Good night, dear.

One Hour Later….

(Queen) Catherine Nye-Frankenstein: *felt something wet as she pulled up the blanket to find a puddle of amniotic fluids in the bed spread, about to go into labor* Uh…..Sonic? I…..I…..I think my water just broke………

(King) Ogilvie Maurice “Sonic” Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: *woken up and saw that Catherine’s going into labor* What? Now? In the middle of the night? Okay, I’ll text Maggie to be in assistant for a midwife position and I’ll call Dr. Quack over to come to the delivery right away.

Twenty nine minutes later……

Dr. Horatio Quentin Quack: What do we have here? An upcoming new package awaiting. *puts on gloves* Maggie, grab the towels and prepare the tub. Not too hot, not too cold, nice warm.

Magnolia “Maggie” Schwartz: I’m on it! *fills the tiny tub for bathing the baby, grabbed a towel for the upcoming baby to be born*

Dr. Horatio Quentin Quack: Okay, Catherine, on the count of three, give me as much pushes as hard as you can. Right now, just breathe as deep as possible.

(Queen) Catherine Nye-Frankenstein: *breathing heavily as labor contractions continue to induce* I-I-I-I-I don’t know if I could do it…….

(King) Ogilvie Maurice “Sonic” Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: Yes, you can, Cathy. We can do this together. Remember what we learn from Lamaze class?

Dr. Horatio Quentin Quack: Okay, let’s give it all you got. One…..two….three…Push!

(Queen) Catherine Nye-Frankenstein: *pushed many times* *labor groans*

Dr. Horatio Quentin Quack: Very good. That’s it! I can see the head! Now, just one more big push!

(Queen) Catherine Nye-Frankenstein: *screamed quietly so she wouldn’t wake everyone else in the castle while they were sleeping*

Then, the room is filled with baby cries.

Dr. Horatio Quentin Quack: Aww…..Hello, gorgeous baby girl.

Magnolia “Maggie” Schwartz: *while holding the baby girl, a cerulean blue alihog with sunshine blonde heart shape streaks on each tip, in a pink blanket* Woah! You guys now have eight little girls!

(King) Ogilvie Maurice “Sonic” Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: I can’t believe it! Honey, you hit the jackpot!

(Queen) Catherine Nye-Frankenstein: *panting heavily* How about that. Eight daughters…..I’m so happy……*exhaled as another contraction already started*

Dr. Horatio Quentin Quack: Wait a minute. Maybe we’re finish right now. I think there’s something going on here.

(King) Ogilvie Maurice “Sonic” Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: Hold on, is there another baby or something, doc?

Dr. Horatio Quentin Quack: That depends. Let’s see. Now, Catherine, keep on pushing and take a few deep breaths.

(Queen) Catherine Nye-Frankenstein: *groaned in pain as she gave one giant push*

Another baby cry was heard around the room.

Dr. Horatio Quentin Quack: Well, well, well, how are you, good looking. Welcome to the world, baby boy.

(King) Ogilvie Maurice “Sonic” Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: Yes! Finally! My prayers are answered! A boy! Cathy, we’re so lucky! A boy and a girl!

(Queen) Catherine Nye-Frankenstein: Wow…..fraternal twins……a boy and a girl…..the quints are gonna be so happy to have a baby brother. 

Magnolia “Maggie” Schwartz: Just wait until Flora hears about this! She dreamed of having a boy. We should name him, “Greg”.

Sonic & Catherine: *In unison* Prince Greg?

(Queen) Catherine Nye-Frankenstein: *giggled* No, Maggie. Actually, I think we’ll use Greg as a second middle name for the boy. So, I think the girl should be named Sharon Valerie and the boy should be Sweeney Timothy.

(King) Ogilvie Maurice “Sonic” Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: Sharon Valerie? Sweeney Timothy Gregory? Huh, I like it. *as he held his son, a sunshine blonde alihog with his father’s blue hair streak on the tip of his hair, in his arm* Hi, hey, lil’ buddy. It’s me, daddy.

(Prince) Sweeney Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: *cooing as he grabbed his father’s finger* 

(King) Ogilvie Maurice “Sonic” Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: *switched bundles with his wife while he held his youngest daughter in his arms* And you, Sharon, are also such a cutest little thing. *handed Sharon back to Catherine*

(Princess) Sharon Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: *cooed happily at her father* 

(Queen) Catherine Nye-Frankenstein: And you two remember mommy too, right? Even you, Sweeney? How’s my little boy doing?

Sharon & Sweeney: *cooed happily*

The Next Morning…….

The kids are getting ready for school when Maggie stepped in to announce the news.

Magnolia “Maggie” Schwartz: Girls, there is a surprise waiting for you. It’s upstairs in mommy and daddy’s room. 

Victoria, Joanna, Emily, Nell, Sally, Helen, Cindy, Alexis, Olympia, Grace, Addy & Maddy:*excitedly happy* Really?/What is it?/What’s the surprise?

Marcia Schwartz/Florence “Flora” Hendricks-Craigson: Wait, you mean-

Lucas “Luke” Hendricks: Did Catherine had the baby?

Magnolia “Maggie” Schwartz: Yes! But, prepare yourselves for a bigger surprise. Now, keep your voices down because Catherine’s still tired and be very gentle for the baby.

As everyone quietly went upstairs to the master bedroom, Sonic and Catherine presented their newborn babies to them.

(Queen) Catherine Nye-Frankenstein: Everyone, say “hello” to your new baby sister. 

(Princess) Sharon Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: *yawns squeakily*

(King) Ogilvie Maurice “Sonic” Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: And say “hi” to your new baby-

(Prince) Sweeney Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: *yawned squeaky*

Alexis “Lex” Schwartz(age 18): Wait, twins? A boy and a girl?

Olympia “Lympi” Schwartz(age 13): Woah! Fraternal twins?! A boy and a girl!

Grace Schwartz(age 8): Looks like you guys finally have a brother!

(King) Ogilvie Maurice “Sonic” Hedgehog-Nye-Frankenstein: Say “hello” to Princess Sharon and Prince Sweeney.

Marcia Schwartz/Florence “Flora” Hendricks-Craigson: Finally, you guys have a son. Holding up in my big brother’s name as his successor, huh.
