Sorry (Game not dead read the post)

Hi, Dizzy here.

You've probably been wondering why updates on this game have been a bit more sparse than expected; this is because I'm stupid and fucked up.

You see, the initial idea for this game was that it was going to be made in turbowarp.

However, on a whim, I decided for us to try and make it in gamemaker instead. We've been wanting to learn it for a bit, and by making this game in it, I thought it'd be the perfect kick in the back for us to properly learn it.

As it turns out, though; We did get a kick in the back, only that instead of proper understanding of the new engine, our backs hurt.

So we're moving back to the engine we initially planned to make the game in, while we learn gamemaker on the side.

Does this mean anything bad for the game? Honestly... no. All things considered, we can still do everything we're intending to do. Only thing that changes is that the game will be made in an engine we're more familiar with. Hopefully, you'll still enjoy what releases, and I will try to not fumble this badly again.

Next up

we will be including a little secret in the demo as a sort of "sorry for taking so long"

Doing some menu streamlining

it's dark :(

hey guys i said that i would be back later you are about to get owned by the terminator

This new version will have cameras in it

De-spaghettification update: We've also decided to redo the map to better suit the gameplay.

In the meantime, have this "expanded" version of our roster image. As always, there may be more characters, but this is our base.

Someone decompiled the game and found this, so I may as well show it off to everyone.

This was an early attempt at giving the Puppeteer a face behind the mask. Canonically, it still looks like this, or at least used to, just uhhh... better looking

To those who're curious, once ETF 2.0 releases, we're likely going to make some kind of video and/or master-post talking about our plans for the future games that won't see the light of day now.

Maybe we'll even throw in some character renders, who knows?

We may have found an obscure channel that's an absolute treasure trove of old, lost, and forgotten fangames.

That aside, Five Nights at Fazbear's Prologue was high-key cooking.
