Hey! You know what time it is? It's devlog time! Let's do it!
-Game Updates-
ToM's development is going extremely well. While I am back tracking quite a bit, I am making it worth it by reworking the rooms and cutscenes. As you might be able to see from the video above, tiles are being overhauled to give them a bit of flavor. I am also adding a few effects such as banner physics, footprints, and (soon) leaves falling out of trees to give a bit more life to the rooms.
I am close to finishing the overhaul of the first room, which means I could soon start working on a main menu for file selections and in-game settings. Afterwards, I will be able to start the process of working on cutscenes. Until then, I must finish a few other features before I can continue, but it should not be long.
-Stream Updates-
So you might (or might not) know that in the last post I mentioned that I may start streaming game development. That plan might still work out, but turns out that I have weak hardware for that. While this does make it sound not possible to stream, I still can; however, the quality of video might not be the best (30 frames per second for okay graphics). I will still give it a shot soon, but it might still be a bit of time before I'm ready. Until then, I will link my Twitch on my account soon. If you are interested, you can follow me to get notified when I start.
-Community Page Update-
I will soon create a community page for the game to make it slightly easier to find my posts for the game. This will take some time to prepare, but keep your eyes out. I will make an announcement post for when I publish it.
-Final Messages-
I am excited for what potential this game has. I am pushing myslef to see what I can and cannot do for this game, so we will see what occours as we continue. That's all I have for this devlog. I will see you all in the next one. Have a good one!
