in Princess Quest 2, there's a section where you navigate both yourself and a shadow version of yourself

since the main character in Princess Quest probably represents Vanny or Vanessa, is it possible they're just mirrors of themselves?

It'd explain why they look the same, and why after we beat all Princess Quests, we leave with the person who was Vanny and there's no sign of Vanessa. It's because they're, once again, the same person.

It's probably kind of a stretch, but I just found it interesting.
