I have seen the FNAF 2 movie and I'm going to be honest, as a FNAF fan since 2017, I did not like the movie. There are some aspects of the movie that were good and some aspects that I wish changed. Like Emma Tammi promised: This movie will be bigger, bolder, scarier and they have listened to the fans, and I've got to say they have listened to the fans when it came to the some aspects of the scenes.
THE GOOD:
The Practical Effects.
FNAF 2 gameplay in the movie.
References to other FNAF fan games such as FNAC and Popgoes.
A great intro to the movie which tells the story of Charlotte, It is a lot better than the movie itself.
The Animatronics.
Matthew Lillard's acting as William Afton.
Some of the Jumpscares are Hit or Miss, But some genuinely got me.
THE BAD:
Terrible Dialogue (worse than the first movie)
Not enough screentime for William Afton and Henry Emily. (including michael afton)
Sometimes the Movie feels like a sci-fi thriller than a horror movie, and it's weird.
Lesser Kills in the movie.
More screentime for The Marionette than Freddy and his Friends, even if the title is Five Night's at "Freddy's" 2.
No Golden Freddy.
Over-reliance on References.
To me, I think FNAF 2 has improved a lot from the first movie while also downgrading when it comes to the script and comedically terrible dialouge. I'd give this movie a solid 6/10. Great for easter egg hunting but not for character development and story. I did not like this movie at all and I hope they make FNAF 3 good or this trilogy is ruined.
