A voice echoes: "Hey figure. Stairs."

Stairs? What? The figure looks around, looking for the source of the voice, yet they find nothing. They also look around for the so-called stairs that it invoked, yet its sight is nowhere to be found. Something is afoot, they think, but they can't find it. Maybe it was just a stray thought?
