Hello there! Apologies for the silence, it's been quite a busy time! I want to update you all on some progress that's been going on!
"So...how goes the coding?"

The humans now take a heart formation! This was done as it was noticed that the ghosts going in a straight formation line looked...quite silly at times.

Mentioning this, all of the ghosts are implemented, and so are their "meet the ghost" flags! Meaning now each human can have backtracking dialogue! (VERY important to this mod, by the way!)

All of the human's cutscenes are started, with Scramb's being 99% complete, only needing a few touches! You saw a bit of Aid's already, and so I plan on showing Scramb's sometime soon!
(Psst, notice the new portrait? We'll get to it soon! It will be more centered in the demo build hopefully!)
In mentioning the humans cutscenes, all of their voice blips are implemented! Here's what each one are:
Aid - Twilight Sparkle (Pitched Up)
Thum - Gumball Waterson (Pitched down)
Mark - Gregory (FNAF) (Pitched by a tiny bit)
Scramb - Salesperson ENA (Pitched Up)
Alto - Jennifer Charles (Cafae Latte) (Pitched Down)
They all sound perfect within the mod too! I can't wait for you to hear them all!
Implementation of the rest of the cutscenes will be done slowly, as the co-coder for the project @piplup4040
is rather busy. Please be patient with us!
"So...how goes the sprite work?"
We haven't needed to redo the headghost's overworld sprites yet, and I doubt we will, in turn those are 100% done unless we need to add some on!

All of Aid's portraits have been remade! Our portraits are still created by @Cozmo_the_Silly
! (Please ignore the "revived" portraits as we are not touching those until way later.)

Thum has started production and has a lot of his done (albeit misnamed), meanwhile the others so far only have their neutral portrait done.
But there's another thing I wish to show...

, the kids all have up and down revived sprites! Their left and right sprites will come at a different time, as these were made to be submitted into the "Choco's Deltarune RP" AU submission, aren't they just cute?
"So...how goes the promotional artwork?"
Well...Indigo wishes to remake the character sheets! Before that though, I asked them to make the mod's Gamejolt banner art!

This is the latest WP they shared with me! I'm super excited to see how it'll turn out, and I hope you guys are too!
I've sometimes considered remaking the thumbnail artwork too, but I am not certain on this decision.
"So...how goes the writing?"
...I may be stuck on Hotland-HEARMEOUT!!!!
I have EIGHT humans to work with, all through the 6 different areas that Undertale contains. Could I force the player to go down a new path? Yes! But who of you WANTS that REALLY? New areas have not been fully concepted further then a "what if" scenario due to this.
I am stuck on how to progress one of the human's arcs within Hotland. If you are a writer and wish to help, let me know!
But beyond that...
Snowdin and Waterfall are done!
That's right! I have finished the main story line script for Snowdin and Waterfall, meaning that all me and Piplup will have to do is code it all within the mod itself!
Ruins, right now, are back in the alpha phase as we program in everything needed (cutscenes, additional custom flags, etc etc.) for the mod to be the best it can be. Once we finish the Ruins fully code wise, I can make the alpha draft before going back and fully scripting the Ruins the way I have with the rest of the mod.
"So...how goes the Old Home?"

OH RIGHT-
Uh...I may have gained a hatred to everything I made regarding it? TRUST ME, I DO PLAN FOR IT TO BE IN THE DEMO! BUT LIKE! YOU GOTTA GIVE ME THE TIME TO FIND THE TEAM MEMBERS FIRST TO HELP WITH THE ART FOR THAT!!
So please like...give me some time? I promise I'll keep attempting to showcase proof that Old Home will be shown!
