So i asked my grandmother a while ago "what would you say if i didn't want to be a girl? Or a boy?"
Her: "(deadname) that makes no sense."
Me: "it's called non binary. I want to be non binary."
Her: "there is no such thing. You were born a girl and there is no changing that"
Then i said: " you know there is around 72 genders right?"
She then looked at me as if i was stupid and the smacked me. I'm used to being hit tho. -_-
