LIMELIGHT: A Megalo-Tribute to Bot

SUMMER DEVLOG (NO.5)


Welcome back.

Over the course of the last couple months, we've been making a huge amount of progress regarding this game, and we're so excited to once again show it off!


Section 1: The Bot fight.

The Bot fight, the main attraction of LIMELIGHT, is 100% done. All future updates on it will be cosmetic or bug fixes.

While the battle is visually done, me and a few other writers in the team have decided to give the LIMELIGHT script a little rewrite to fit our current tunes with the attacks and spirit of the fight.

I'm pretty happy with the current dialogue so far, and the writing is 100% done, too! All that needs done is to fully implement the dialogue into the battle itself... But that's already a quarter of the way done.

Section 2: Misc Stuff

Since the battle is completely done, we're diverting our focus to other aspects of the game.

Section 3: Extra Modes

It's finally time we pay attention to the modes of LIMELIGHT! The only one we're covering for right now is HARD MODE!

The battle is about 10% done right now, and I intend for it to be included in a later update for the game.

The mode has been reviewed by all team members and they all love it, so you can trust me when I say this: You will NOT be disappointed by what Hard Mode has to offer.


Section 4: Conclusion.

Thank you all for waiting as long as you did for this devlog, and I appreciate the attention you've all been giving this game.

You may be asking: "If the Bot fight is 100% done, then why aren't you releasing the game yet?" And this is my answer: Oh buddy. We still have a huge surprise coming. We won't tell but I promise you it's gonna be AWESOME.

But for now, that is all. Have an awesome rest of your day and night, and know that you are loved and cared for by many people. You may have a bad day but always be appreciative for the days after, for they hold wonderful adventures. <3
