A couple of weeks ago I came back to Freefall, decided to polish it up a bit, and now here’s an updated version! Still not quite integrated with the GameJolt API, but there have been a few changes:
-Brand new procedural generation algorithm
-Added gold coins, which are worth 200 points (silver coins are now worth 75)
-Revamped UI, including new typeface
-Your average time and score are now displayed on the stats page
I’ll be spending November doing NaNoWriMo, but after that I have the following plans for V1.2:
-A countdown at the start of the game
-Additional sound effects
-Additional obstacles
And what I’d really love, eventually, is to have a player character model that’s not just a Unity capsule!
