Yes, that is Lucas in his Eldritch form (inspirations include Chinese dragons and the Gargantuan Leviathan from Subnautica) beefing with the newly demonic Lake, not yet in his Chessmaster form or fully recovered but the signs are there. (With a closeup of the drawing so you can see Lake better.)

Lake attempted to use his new demonic powers to scry for Haiden in Montreal, he gets the equivalent of a headache for his trouble. Lucas, as an Eldritch horror, can generate a sort of “static field” that interferes with anyone attempting to spy or scry on anyone within the boundaries of this field. And since this field covers all of Montreal, because Lucas is only an infant in Eldritch terms, Lake cannot scry for anyone within the city. So he does not know that Ashley moves to Wisconsin and has a kid until he sees Reagan for the first time and recognises Ashley’s features.

While Lake cannot actually see Lucas fully, due to the fact that Eldritch horrors have some nasty side effects if observed by anyone not acclimated to their presence, he can hold a conversation with him before he’s rudely booted out the astral plane.

Lake swears that he will be back and he will claim what is his. Lucas coldly invites him to try, unaware that Lake also means him due to the fact he’s Haiden’s adoptive son. Which in Lake’s mind makes Lucas his son also. Lucas won’t exactly know how to feel about it beyond confused at the logic but as long as Lake doesn’t hurt his family then he’s fine with it.

Also included a full sketch of Lucas’ Eldritch form, only this time I lined it in black pen, a rare treat, because I wanted to try it out for once. He does have two horns and six legs purely because you can’t really copy and paste anything on paper unless there’s tracing paper involved… and I don’t have any…
