TAALFS/MLP Au - The Sealing of Karma


Ancient Mural/Stained Glass Window - The Sealing of Karma:

When Equestria was young and Celestia and Luna were starting out their rule, another alicorn appeared, only this was was corrupted by dark, nightmarish powers. This alicorn, Morningstar Blaze, was karmic retribution incarnate, punishing the wicked for their sins. Yet her rage and the darkness that took her over pushed her into being unable to recognise desperate actions from genuine maliciousness.

The sister battled Lady Morningstar, sealing her in the ocean in the hopes that the weight of the waters would keep her from causing anymore harm.

However, her last act of spite, and the desire to see the sisters own karma come to fruition. Lady Morningstar cast one, last, desperate spell, imbuing some of her dark magic within the younger sister. This karmic magic would cause Luna's downfall into Nightmare Moon a few years later.

Only recently, with the appearance of two strange creatures Azure Ashes (an Alicorn) and Tenebres Tempest (an odd chimeric being) the signs of the weakening seal are going unnoticed.

The Lady of Karma will soon be free to wreak her vengeance on the sisters who sealed her.

While I know making Rachel the sort of villain in this Au is kinda OOC it made sense in my mind. I watched her QnA video and her rant about karma kinda stuck with me as I designed her MLP self. As Celestia is the alicorn of the Sun and Twilight the alicorn of Magic I made Rachel the alicorn of Karma.

Went with a more stained glass like style for this art piece, I think it looks really good, but what do you guys think?

Also Azure Ashes and Tenebres Tempest are the names Ashley and Lucas are going by when they're chilling in Equestria, can't be too careful and Lucas was determined to blend in with the locals.

She became that way because of the greed of others and has beef with Chessmaster Lake over parenting rights to Ashley.
