Hey everyone, it's Lonner's Bo- ahem I mean Lonner's team member Speedorsm. I'm here to give you a run down on the recent update on the 2.0 version of the game.

It's been a while since Lonner has announced he'd be making a 2.0 version of the game, and not much progress has appeared since, but we'd like to inform you that we are actively working on it, and we are continuing to add new things to it.

One of the major changes for 2.0 is the update to the lore, I am the supposed storywriter for TDP, and I've seen ways on how the story could be improved, as the original story was kinda bland, unoriginal, and not very good (pls don't kill me green dragon...) So I have been actively making the new story for 2.0 much more better and interesting. So we'd definitely recommend playing 2.0 when it does come out as it's story will be completely different than the original version.

We are also planning on updating some of the visuals and even some gameplay mechanics to make it play better (Looking at you Telefone....) And even reanimating some jumpscares potentially to make them feel nicer and better! We will also be remaking some of the videos from Lonner's YouTube channel, specifically the VHS commercial about Lonner's Pizzeria that was promoting TDP, We have some ideas on how to remake it and we hope you'll enjoy it when that comes out too!

We're also going to be remaking some voicelines, not only to fit in with the new story being told, but also just to help with general improvements on the way they sound, and speaking of sound, we might make more music for the game's OST, it all depends really!

TL;DR 2.0's progress is smooth and has a new story that makes 1.0 not canon anymore
