Hi, welcome to our second monthly progress update. This months been a bit fast and some things have been changed or have been changed in the game regarding some story elements and sprites.
WRITING
We still are figuring out a few things with the general flow of the game, however there has been some writing WIP with our waterfall encounter, and us getting down some more general stuff with certain parts of the game. There have been some changes to the story, however that won't be revealed because what we changed was already not revealed lol.
SPRITES
Due to recent events, a decent chunk of our sprites are now scrapped. Yeah ummm while thats not great we are making some progress with updating/making new sprites, some of which to fit the current changes to the story. The base sprite for front facing sans/the main sprite reference for sans has been made, along with the Waterfall Encounters spritesheet(only missing slam frames and shrug). Heres a photo of the waterfall encounter sprite, just so we have at least something to show you guys besides "hey all the sans sprites are being remade!"(Sorry for bad image quality, makes it slightly harder for people to trace while still showing the sprite off.)

MUSIC
Music progress has been good, 1 track has been finished, and one of them is in its early WIP stages. Here is the finished track:

The other track that is in its early stages is the Phase 1 theme for Final Corridor. Currently it is is unnamed, and has about a minute of it created so far.
CODING
The progress on coding has been...lets just say "interesting". A decent chunk of small things that were gonna be needed have been made, mostly involving the overworld. I have slowed down just a little bit on coding due to dealing with mental stuff, both irl and online, but there still has been a decent amount of progress.

The chase sequence may not have footage shown off for a while, but there has been a small bit of progress on it the past few days(There has been plans for a chase sequence for a while now.)
There has been a decent amount of bugs and overall improvements to the game, thanks to playtesting with the team.
There also has been a new mechanic created for waterfall encounter, however that will be shown in next months progress update due to us not having a new battle background for waterfall encounter.
The progress this month been a bit slower then last months, but things should be picking up faster as we recover and remake more assets, and next month I should have more to show when it comes to battles.
