Regarding the length of the event
The event was shorter than an hour, only 33 minutes, as originally we planned to have segment timers between the game trailers though we scrapped that as it felt unnecessary. However we were not able to rerecord that voiceline stating the event would be up to an hour.
Regarding complaints about including smaller creators/quality control
This event is for creators both big and small and is to give everyone in the community a chance to show off their work. We accept anyone who wants to participate, with the only exception being those who do not fill out the application form correctly, who submit empty game pages, or who do not follow the event guidelines.
Regardless of whether they are big or small, in their first few months of game development or have years of experience, it's a community showcase for everyone so please be respectful to all the participants.
What's next for FNAF Fest?
I am planning to do FNAF Fest again next year, around the same time of May. The format will be the same and applications will be done through the same process. We will open up the next event's applications in January.
Overall, we had a lot of cool content and announcements shown and I'm glad to have worked with the talented participants. Thank you all again for participating and watching!
