Thanks for 1k Followers + Demo News for Engraved Establishment


Hey everyone!

Thank you so much to everyone who has followed this game and has either spread the game page to others or is genuinely curious or excited about it. The first thing you know, you’re making something to put onto GitHub for other people to use. The next, you’re making a fangame for like a thousand people. To that, I couldn’t be more thankful enough.


Talking about the actual game, I’ve seen several people worried that this game will get canceled. I’m very doubtful it will, but to be safe, I am putting together a demo for everyone to play and get some feedback and, hopefully, more people being optimistic.

What will this demo include?

  • 6 Days/Nights

    • Each night, you earn a new tower to try out and strategize using (6 Nights = 6 Towers)

    • The Tycoon and Shop will have everything that I’ve made so far (which is a lot)

  • Tycoon Sandbox (or Endless Tycoon)

    • I’ve given players a huge plot of the area to do what they want with the stuff I’ve made currently, but what you can place is unlimited (hundreds of Paper Pals, Freddy animatronics, etc.).

  • Cutscenes

    • Opening cutscene featuring Recruitment Unit, similar to Pizza Sim’s

    • A call from Phone Guy for this first week (still looking for a Phone Guy VA)

When will it be released?

That’s currently undetermined, but I assure you that the actual game part (the tycoon and tower defense levels) is complete, and I’ve gotten a few people to beta-test. My main focus is bug-fixing, polishing the demo, and animating cutscenes.

You’ll know when it’ll be released when I either make an announcement or a short trailer for the demo release.


Once again, thank you to everyone for being patient and excited about this game. Working on it has given me a lot of joy and I’m hoping a lot of you will be glad or happy with the demo (when it releases). Talk to you all again soon!

Next up

Currently WIP of the Tycoon Section UI so far (View Mode not worked on yet).

Biggest thing that needed improvement was having the user actually use other draw options and have better ways to find all the items, decor, and animatronics in one mode.

Also for people wondering, I did make Control Settings for you to change the inputs of the game to buttons on your keyboard or mouse.

Many people were having issues where they couldn't get inputs to work (I think it's cause of unicode key inputs)

Here's what the View Mode of the Tycoon looks like now.

Many people wanted the ability to hide the UI as well as take screenshots in-game. You can also open the file location of the screenshots and are separated by the name of your pizzeria!

I've finally finished up redoing the main Night (Tower Def.) UI, as a lot of people had problems reading things wrong or didn't understand the generators.

This was probably one of the more requested and wished for features I've seen from the demo but now there's an Undo and Redo option in the game!

The Tiles and Objects have their own individual undo and redo lists.

So far managed to finish 3 out of 5 enemies I wanted to make for now, I have to play through the nights fully to see if I feel like they're fair or not. But their functionality is complete and they're gonna be unique.

I finished remodeling Party Room 2 which is now the Arcade!

I'm glad I was able to complete this by the end of the day because I can finally begin to wrap up the 'super big secret' I've been teasing for 11 months now..

Just wanted to update y'all and say that I'm still working in the background. Trying out some ideas, mechanics, and some cool additions that'll (hopefully) work out.

Obviously cant show rn since I'm hoping it'll get a lot of people interested again.
