The Audi turned 40 today, and what do you do as a birthday gift? Clean it and fix currently existing problems.


In the last few weeks the door handle on the driver side started acting up, today it sadly broke which forces me to go in through the back door and open the driver door from inside.

With cleaning I mostly focused on the engine, and after research I found out the Audi got a HJS Catalytic Converter Upgrade in 92, luckily I found a Sticker mentioning that specific Upgrade.

One thing for the future is new wheels for summer, and for that we got some BBS Alloy Wheels, about 35 years old meaning the Historical Grade stays the same.

In May will be another Oldtimer Meetup, and if everything works out I‘ll be there with @LinaWorker , if we’re both there we’ll make another post.

I‘ve got another Project, this one was actually started before I had the Audi but then abandoned for quite some time.

This is an old Trailer made in 1975, east Germany at that time was the DDR, which is why this bad boy now is the DDR Trailer

I was taking my dog out for a walk a few days ago in the woods, and when I wanted to go back home I just stood there and admired what a big pile of work does, the Audi is a great looking car
