The Audi turned 40 today, and what do you do as a birthday gift? Clean it and fix currently existing problems.


In the last few weeks the door handle on the driver side started acting up, today it sadly broke wich forces me to go in through the back door and open the driver door from inside.

With cleaning I mostly focused on the engine, and after research I found out the Audi got a HJS Catalytic Converter Upgrade in 92, luckily I found a Sticker mentioning that specific Upgrade.

One thing for the future is new wheels for summer, and for that we got some BBS Alloy Wheels, about 35 years old meaning the Historical Grade stays the same.

In May will be another Oldtimer Meetup, and if everything works out I‘ll be there with @LinaWorker , if we’re both there we’ll make another post.
