At last, the results of The Five Nights at Kirby's Character Design Contest are to be revealed! There were a total of 65 submissions ranked, and only five submissions in total that will be appearing as exclusive enemies in the Custom Mode.

The full results are listed in the images, but I'd like to give more detailed thoughts on the winning designs.

5th Place - Bucky by Danny_haha

It was a very tough choice between this character and the one placed right before him. However, Bucky ultimately was the better design in the end.

There are a lot of small details of the design that really appear to me. The small paint splotch on their cheek, the rainbow sticker, and the large spill of paint almost acting like a wig. His design is very nice!

4th Place - Radioactive by WillertonIII

Radioactive is an absolutely fantastic design! Incredibly simple, but incredibly well done. It quickly caught my eye as one of the best designs when I first saw it.

I loved the idea of a toxic-waste Kirby, and I think Radioactive is super well done. It manages to feel like a mutant Kirby while still being cartoony and feeling like something from the actual games. Very well done!

3rd Place - SHIFT by ForestChips

There were a lot of creepypasta-like designs, shapeshifter designs, and designs that varied on Kirby himself. But out of them all, SHIFT was by far the best.

The melting, almost angelic wings really help sell SHIFT as being an imperfect clone of Kirby, and I particularly love his mouth turning into a massive set of teeth running down the middle, taking a defining aspect of Kirby's design and twisting it into something far creepier.

2nd Place - Carys Termina by comic-boi

This one surprised me a lot! Carys Termina is perhaps the most out-of-place submission in the whole contest, considering she's not even a Kirby. However, she stuck out as being a particularly great design!

The design manages to encapsulate all of the elements of Void Termina into a very visually pleasing character. And one I really had fun drawing, too!

1st Place - BIG Boy & Aubrey by mac_n_cheeseiscool

This design was considered by many to be one of the best, and I wholeheartedly agree. Taking one of the official copy abilities and turning it into something completely new, it comes together into an incredible design!

For those who wish to ask about this technically being two characters, I will say that only BIG Boy will be appearing as an enemy. Aubrey is completely abstained from violence! (At least in this timeline.)

And that's all! While the winners will be the only ones to appear as enemies, rest assured that everyone will be appearing in-game as an easter egg! If you'd like to discuss more in-depth on what you want to see of your character in-game, feel free to get in contact!
