Antiseptic fans! It’s been about a week since we released the game and the response has been nothing short of fantastic! We’re thrilled everyone is loving it and ecstatic to see the community so vocal in seeing game continuation! To date, we have more than 4000 page views and around 950 downloads on GameJolt and an insurmountable count of Let’s Plays via YouTube!

So what’s next?

Antiseptic will be getting an expansion! We’re making it bigger and better, adding additional content and expanding the playtime from 5-10 minutes to around 15-20. In addition, we’ll be fixing all those nasty bugs and addressing user feedback. This will be a whole new game build, so you can enjoy the entire experience once more but in a much more polished fashion.

Oh, and don’t worry! We’re adding saves/checkpoints, too! We’re still keeping the AI hard but we’re polishing the code, adding better rules, and tightening things up. Time permitting; we’ll hopefully be able to do some additional voice over work, too.

Because of the fantastic response, we’re also going to be working on a behind-the-scenes documentary. You’ll get to see all the nitty/gritty details of Space Octopus Studios and how a game jam works!
