New Logo
I'll start with the flashy stuff. A new logo was a long time coming, and I think I did a great job with this.
I've also overhauled the gamepage, so it actually looks nice with new screenshots, an updated playable teaser, and better-fitting, concise writing.
Better Nature
I've shown this off a few times, but I went back and improved the grass, trees, flowers, and bushes of every environment, and they look so much nicer and realistic now.
New: (The compression is bad, sorry)

Old:

Better Menus
This has also been a long time coming. Now the main menu is a nice bookshelf, a far cry from what it used to be, buttons floating in front of one of the camera environments. After playing Puppet Theatre, I've learned a lot about better shading and I've been incorporating that across all the menus.

Cutscenes
I started working on the cutscenes since August of last year. Cutscene 1 took me 3 days, cutscene 2 took me a week and a half, and cutscene 3 took me 4 months, mostly because I got burnt out. I'm happy with them though, and I've been going back to clean up cutscene 1 a little. Here's some sneak previews.

What's Left?
Writing, specifically for the Cryptids: The Nearly Complete Guide book. I'm glad I saved it for last, because some of the writing in there was inconsistent or bad. I also went back and refined the guides, which likewise had outdated writing.
I also have to finish getting the game through playtesters to iron out everything. Through playtesting, I realized one of the characters was pretty hard to understand at first, so I drew this little diagram for its guide.

After that, there are only a few more things, like a final trailer and gamejolt API, and then this project will be complete!
Huge thanks to everyone who has followed along with me on this journey, and thanks to those who are following it now!
Here's a little something for reading to the end.

It was also made by the guy who made the poster at the top, @Danny_haha
. Huge thanks to him.
