The game is released


A little late to post this on here, but for the sake of players finding us on GameJolt, we are proud to say we successfully released our game Phasmophobia: Hall of Specters on October 31st, 2016. The game is available for free on Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux from Itch.io and IndieDB. The “Google Cardboard Edition” VR port is available for $0.99 on The Google Play Store.

We have also released our soundtrack for free exclusively on GameJolt. Feel free to check that out.

We plan to give the game another new home here on GameJolt within a month or two following a new update. The reason it isn’t available now is because we are expanding to new hubs such as GJ slowly instead of all at once. This is because we have updates planned and not only do we not wish to give users a bad first impression, but we don’t want to update every hub when we release a new update. So please bare with us and download the game from here:

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Back in my art school days I used to ride the 710 COPSA line from Parque Del Plata to Montevideo almost everyday. This is the Marcopolo Viaggio G4 Mercedes Benz model from the late 80s, one of the older bus models that was running on the line.
