The Game Jam theme is here!

The theme is: Out Of The Ordinary

What makes a game Out Of The Ordinary?

Your game needs to avoid traditions and similarities that most FNAW games share. Using similar mechanics and gameplay ideas, are something that is common in most FNAW games today. Your game must be creative, different, and out of the ordinary with it's presentation, design, and gameplay. Essentially your game needs to be incredibly unique. The more creative the game is in terms of it's elements, the higher it will be ranked.

Your game will be primarily judged on how well it matches the theme

RULES

You can have a max of 3 people working on a game. (This does not include voice actors, composers, and beta testers, you can have as many as you need of these)
You do not have to be apart of the discord server to participate in the jam
Your game description must have the tag #outoftheordinaryfnaw you must also include this tag somewhere on the main menu this tag as well. (Can be main menu or extras if you have an extras section)
You will have until August 1st 6:00 EST to create your game for the jam. If you make a patch or release the game a day later it will not be counted towards the ranking.
You may not use any pre-made assets before the jam, or any assets from a previously scrapped project.
The game cannot be a joke game.
The only engines you cannot use are fnaf maker and power point, anything else should be fine.

AFTERMATH

After the jam has concluded, a full video ranking every jam game will be released on the FNAW Team official channel. The game that is decided to be the best by the Awards Council will receive a special award. This video should arrive 1 - 3 weeks after the jam has concluded.

(Those who participate in the jam and previously knew about the theme before the reveal will be ranked separately and will not be eligible for the award.)
