"A Bite at Wario's" is a short and simple AU I'm thinking of making and wanted to showcase some random stuff I thought about in terms of story/lore for the AU. This AU is clearly inspired by "A Bite at Freddy's," a bite sized fnaf fan game by @GarrettMcKay , and FNAW by @WwwWario .

The AU's story goes something like this.

In 1986 a Man named Wario was Born. He and his older brother, Waluigi, grew up on their family's ranch. Given they grew up on a ranch, the two brothers were exposed to lots of cowboy related things like Horse riding, lasso tossing, and even target shooting. The two boys also were used to their family holding BBQs from time to time. Even on their birthdays, their family would have a BBQ for them. One day in 2007, while at a restaurant with some of their friends from school (Mario and Luigi), the group began talking about what they'd like to do in their futures. During their talk, Wario ate his food and said that his family's cooking/grilling was better. Mario jokingly replied "well maybe you should start selling your cooking and see how everyone else likes it!" Mario, Luigi, and Waluigi all laughed at the joke. But Wario actually thought about it for a while. Then, he got an idea. An idea on how to combine both his love for things related to the wild west, and his interest in grilling/cooking food just like his family would at their BBQs.

And so, throughout 2007 to 2008, Wario and Waluigi ran a little stand by the side of the road where they would sell their grilled foods. Surprisingly, their stand was a success, and got fairly popular. Not to the point that it was seemingly the best stand in the country, but it went from 1 or 2 customers per day to about 10 or 15 customers.

By 2009, Wario bought an empty restaurant building not far from his home, and after some renovations to the place, Wario opened up his new Grill and theatre. The grill offered the best food in the area, as well as live performances by Wario and his friends. Even Mario convinced his wife, Peach Toadstool, to come work with him at the grill and join in on the shows.

Then, one night, in 2009, after the grill was closed, Wario and his friends never came out of the building. Strange thing was that the same night, Bruno Gate, owner of another restaurant in the same area, also went missing. Shortly after the disappearances of Wario and Co, the police investigated the grill, which was closed the night Wario and the others disappeared. The investigation led the police to find that a window to the grill had been smashed and broken into by a sledgehammer, and when going inside the grill, the police found the dead bodies of the grill's staff. Wario and Waluigi had several gunshots on their bodies, Peach had one on her chest, Luigi was hanging above one of the dining rooms had a lasso tied around his neck, and Mario's head was cut off by a grill's door. Nobody knows what happened, but all they knew was that whoever did this to them must have really hated the grill so much. But in the end, there isn't much they could do now. So, the grill was closed down and faded away from everyone's memories... That was until 2013, when someone decided to reopen the grill and start it's business up again.

And this would lead into the events of ABAW
