The main collectible in the game is peace gems. There are 7 peace gems in total. All of the 7 peace gems are required to get 3 out of the 5 possible endings in the game.

In the Ice mountain area you can find these lamps scattered around. The heat lamp turns Ice into water and the Ice lamp turns water into Ice, both only lasts 15 seconds so better be quick.
