The map: Part 5

I thought, that I’ll report my progress before Monday, because…

It is done.

The collisions are a bit glitching, but apart from that it’s working!
The only thing it’s still need (apart from fixing the collisions) is the animated tiles, like the water flowing effect in the ruins area.

Then I need to add triggers to the map, like starting a cinematic part (e.g. the part when you meet sans), interact with the world, switch rooms, etc. This might be tricky as well, but! If you remember my list, of what needs to be done, then you might remember, that this will be the last big part (hopefully).

The phone will be easy (the equipment and healing is already created in the fight system, I’ll just have to copy it),and the calling will just show a text (which is also done in the fight system).
The saving will be just a piece of cake.

So, yeah, I’m optimistic that the project is getting near to that first release!
If everything is done, I’ll just have to make the smaller details of the story (the first part is already planned out, and your choices WILL matter from now on!), put it into the game, and release! In the meantime I’ll try to find an animator/designer/somebody who can draw, because with the exams on my back, I won’t be able to create the animations.
If you think, that you can help, please let me know!

So, see you on next week!

(PS I think that Frisk is a bit slow, with this speed. What do you think?)

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
