The Mars update for my game, NGC: Echoes of Familiarity, has released! Read the article below for additions and changes.


Additions

  • Mars has been implemented. You will proceed into Mars after completing Earth.

  • Save Data has been introduced to compliment the addition of a new world. When you reach the next world, your score and what world you're in will be automatically saved.

Mars-Specific Additions

  • Five volcano level types, two subspace level types, and a new type of Mecha City level.

  • New bosses (Big Moguera and Titanosaurus).

  • New mini-bosses (Matango Hive 2 and Gohten).

Changes

  • If you have any save data for beyond Earth, the menu will automatically place the selector onto "LAST GAME" to avoid loss of data.

  • If you select "NEW GAME" with save data, you will be given one last "are you sure?" prompt as an extra safeguard to loss of save data.

Textboxes on the board will scale with the monster's name now. Otherwise, names like Titanosaurus or Space Godzilla wouldn't fit.
