THE NEW DREADWALKER!

While you guys were waiting for that next update, we have been remaking/rewriting the game itself! No longer will the game be set in Thunder Science Company or its towers— we have renamed it to Thunder Research Incorporated (Inc.) and made the towers a really BIG building.

WHY?

We can argue that in my opinion, the previous iteration of this was really not that great and we want to make our own take on the Changed storyline. I mean, the story was already made clear with the old story (The Dark Truth) being released as a google document.

All of it was just a rip-off of The Return to Freddy's 5 and its Dreadful Truth novel. Doesn't the car crash scene sound similar?

I won't get into it or we're gonna be all day: But the thing is, audiences are not gonna enjoy the previous storyline. What was I thinking?!

The game and its story is a completely different one. So no worries about it!

WHAT'S THERE TO EXPECT?

Recently, I've been playing (and eventually finished) Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs— one of the influences for The Return to Freddy's 5 (In fact, TRTF 5 uses sounds from the game too!) and was made aware of THE PRESENCE: SPLIT MINDS. I found them the perfect fit for the remake of the game.

I loved Amnesia ever since I was a young lad watching all sorts of YouTubers that made stuff about it back in the day: PewDiePie, Markiplier, etcetera. I thought it would be great to introduce the new generation to where my love for horror came from.

THE NEW CREATURES

I have been hard at work (and by work, I mean playing REGRETEVATOR) redesigning and making new latex creatures for the demo. Previously, it was just a transfurred employee— and the Peppermint Bunny from Laboratory Tale.

Sorry to say, but Peppermint Bunny is no more. They did not fit the tone of the game. At all.

So here comes the new creatures you'll be seeing in the upcoming demo:

Moonlighters

The Moonlighters are groups of Thunder Research Incorporated employees who were turned into the LX by either falling victim to it and the red man— or breaking the rules of the facility. A punishment no one wants... right?

The Jester's Cavalry

The good old latex creatures. Although now out for your flesh and blood...

Yes. It's simpler that way.
