The Noise's battle has received a complete overhaul! Improvements were made left and right to make the fight as fun as it can be. All additions are listed in the article


The Noise improvements:

  • Noise's bomb can't be hit while in the air until its fuse starts up to make it more challenging

  • Noise can be jumped on while he dashes. If you ground pound while he's dizzy he will take damage, otherwise you'll take damage

  • Noise's dash jump now has proper physics

  • During Noise's plug attack, there are collectable toppings that'll make the attack last for a shorter time if collected. If the end pizza spawns and one more topping is collected, a star coin will spawn

  • During phase 2, Noise will throw things more frequently

  • Noise has 3 hp during phase 2, getting rid of 1 when Peppino catches up to him

Peppino improvements:

  • Peppino's dodge jump now has proper physics, and when he lands a new animation will play

  • Pressing down while jumping will have Peppino ground pound, giving him a little vertical boost before going down

  • During phase 2, Peppino has been given a lot of new animations when he does specific things like letting go of the down key while rolling

  • If the down key is pressed in the air during phase 2, Peppino will dive and land on the ground earlier

  • When Peppino touches the dash pad, the speed boost lasts longer and a new animation and sound plays

  • If Peppino is at full speed, he'll ignore the flying pizzas and make them explode

3.0 is fast approaching. I can't wait to release it, it's like an entirely new game!

A new evolution is slowly approaching! A lot of systems are being redone and created behind the scenes i.e. ratings, sprite reimports for optimization, and a new damage output equation with proper defense and attack stats!

The new palette templates are here! The second image allows for much more complex creations. Keep in mind, you must use a program that has a color swapping feature. My favorites will be added to the game. I would love to see what everyone comes up with!
