The Physgun Update (v5.0)


Welcome To A More Fun and Enjoyable Cowl's Mod!

v5.0 finally adds what completes the sandbox-ification of the game - the Physics Gun. There have also been a couple of other changes along with this update.

What's New

  • Added the Physgun - Players can now use the physgun to manipulate objects and throw them around, aswell as building things out of props using the weapon.

  • Changed cm_assemble - cm_assemble has been updated to really capture that Garry's Mod 9 look. I'm very open and honest about this mod's inspiration from Garry's Mod, and now I've done this because I want Cowl's Mod to be a tribute project to Garry's Mod.

  • Added Real Singleplayer - Full singleplayer without creating a server and playing by yourself hasn't been possible due to the crazy low movement speeds in singleplayer. Now, singleplayer has been added and is separate from multiplayer. Now, you can access the server browser by clicking on "Multiplayer" and you can create a server using "Create Server".

  • Changed cm_littletown To Be a Multiplayer Only Map - No specific reason for this, just wanted to.

I really hope Cowl's Mod is much better now, especially with the added physgun. And as I said, this is a tribute project to Garry's Mod. I am not trying to compete with Garry's Mod or Facepunch.
