The song is about (or at least what I think its about) someone who is having problems, but everything else in the world seems like a much bigger problem, everyone has had something worse or done something better, sacrificing something of theirs.
And this person singing the song feels like their problems aren’t as significant, but it’s just been building up over time, and this is him finally getting off his chest.
(Note: I’m using he/him pronouns for the person, as the song is sung by who I assume is a male, but I could be wrong)
