Hello! Long time, huh? It’s been five years since this game was last touched. So, what happened?
The game wasn’t canceled. My friend and I simply stopped working on it. There was no official announcement or formal cancellation—we just stopped developing it and ended up forgetting about it for years.
Now, during these Christmas holidays, I decided to start learning how to make games using programming. At the moment, I’m learning how to use Unity and the C# programming language, and I also plan to learn Unreal Engine along with C++.
Once I become comfortable with either Unity or Unreal Engine (because honestly, I still haven’t figured out which one I prefer, since I only started learning during these Christmas holidays), I plan to continue development on Five Nights at Blaza’s. FNAB will most likely stop being made in Clickteam Fusion 2.5, and the engine that will support it will be either Unity or Unreal Engine.
But don’t get too excited.
I’ve only just started learning Unity and Unreal Engine during these holidays, and I still don’t know which of the two I feel more comfortable with. On top of that, school is starting again.
So, development on Five Nights at Blaza’s is going to take a long time.
That’s all I wanted to say for now. Take care!
