So, Among us 2 is not a game we can expect to come soon.

As we can read on the AU blog, they are talking about a new update with new roles so they aren't done with their plans for Among us "1".

Apparently, Innersloth is also under a DDos* attack, which makes them even busier.

Among us 2 had to be released in mid-2021, but they canceled it because they wanted to put more effort in Among us "1".

I think there will not be any Among us 2 because the game is quite dead, so there are two things that can happen:

• Innersloth makes Among us 2 to try to revive some players 

• Innersloth does not want to risk making a game that nobody will play so they don't make it

There are some chances that case 1 happens, but if it happens, it will be in a long time because they still have to release it on consoles as they said, so it will take some time

Honestly in my opinion, Among us is not the kind of game that requires more sequels.

Among us is more a game where new features come in form of updates instead of sequels.

It's kinda like Minecraft, it would not make sense to make Minecraft 2 when they could make a new update.

*A DDoS attack is a form of hacking where the hacker spams a server with requests until it can't hold more. Those attacks happen often to different platforms and can rarely be stopped by the victim.
