Thinking of what Genre your Game should be is tough.
I've pretty much got most of the story thought of but, I need some gameplay that's, Fun. Addictive, with a little randomness for extra fun.
I'm currently on cleaning sim, but might change it to Beat-em-up/ Rogue-like
also had other ideas like:
side scrolling shooter
adventure puzzle
fighting game/RPG
Overall personally a beat-em-up sounds fun, but at the same time I feel they get a little stale after 7 stages. . ..
unless. . .I can find a way to add tons of fun stuff to keep it fresh
