This is one of our early shadowmaps. It serves as a glimpse into what the game engine itself sees when it attempts to calculate shadows. It may look strange but it's a critical part of realistic shadows in modern games.

The two lit up buildings are research labs being built. Besides reactors, research labs are the most common building in this city by far while there is only one factory. This is one possible strategy, there are other ways.
