This video has been sped up to 2x because the lag is geting on my last fucking nerve

Progress for Monday, October 17, 2024

  • The main menu is now a dome (or as close as I could make it to look like a dome without making it look weird so it's basically a cylinder or a cuboid).

Further notes

  • I was considering using a wireframe dome like the one in the background for the gameplay environment, but it was super laggy (as all graphically complex TurboWarp projects are for some reason) and I didn't want details to affect the gameplay experience.

  • Notice the slider text being offset. Just so you know, that happens every so often and I cannot control it at the moment, sorry.

Next up

'Sbeen awhile since my last update for this game so here's a short overview of what I've been cooking as well as everything that's changed since my last post (read the article).

Next will be implementing the song select menu and leaderboards (maybe)!

HE'S GONNA WHAT?

why tf are so many people following me i appreciate it but this is a sudden burst in popularity

Preview #2 for the Dynamic environment (Hypersync)

I posted this three hours later than I should have

Preview #1 for the Dynamic environment (Collider)

EDIT 1: forgot to credit @NitroSplash for the awesome music

EDIT 2: removed the link to the video because it'll finally let me download it

i purposely missed a mistake so i wouldnt get double xp and duolingo does this

oh yeah i got beat saber mods back again

Daily updates are back (for as long as they can be), baby!

Here is the gameplay environment (static). Y'all ain't ready for the dynamic environment, though!

time to do some reflections!

This is a quick li'l showcase, not a daily update. No code has been changed since my last post, I designed the (unfinished) reflections code a while ago.

It's a bit broken due to polygonal pen clipping not being a thing yet

Notes:

- obviously inspired by osu!lazer

- made for my 3D remake of osu!

- made with CapCut Desktop

- the red color at the end is used for chroma key

I tried, boys...

(On a happier note, EN-PJSK 3RD ANNIVERSARY IS HERE!)
