Thoughts


I was planning to finish the (latest incarnation of the) game and I made a pretty solid attempt to do so around 4-5 years ago, but the animatronic behavior had a bug I couldn't fix so it never ended up released.

Since then it was on the backburner until mid-2025 when I ultimately shelved the project. The models I had borrowed (stolen) and modified to use for the fangame ended up being made by someone not very pleasant. Not that they were particularly fit for FNaF fangame use to begin with, but I couldn't model at the time, and I still can't!

There is no practical way for me to continue the project unless I learn modelling. Which may happen, but I feel like it's far too late in FNaF's cycle for my fangame as intended to release and still be worth checking out.

I may update this page with my thoughts regarding the various reincarnations of the game, and the poorly thought out sequel ideas that I strongly suspect ended up driving away the people I begged to code for me. (Note: I am now capable of making a basic FNaF fangame in Clickteam Fusion, or I at least was)
