Hi, everyone! It's been a long while since I last made one of these long devlogs, so time for a new one!
What's happening with the game?
Firstly, I have to admit, development on Resaturated has been slow as I recently am working on a few other projects. Still, I've accomplished a lot, so in this devlog, I'll be discussing two of the new sections for the first chapter.
> The Tunnel
Similar to the Sub, this is another trauma sequence. The objective this time is to simply reach the end of the Tunnel. If you ever played [legacy], you'll probably recognize who will be accompanying you in there.
> Balls Destiny
The second arcade game is practically complete! In fact, I've already posted a video of it here a while ago. Up until now, this is my favorite section in the entire game, so I hope you enjoy it when it's out!
Now, what about other chapters?
Something I want to make clear is that all five chapters of the game are being worked on interchangeably. At this point, some chapters are close to completion, while others are still early in development. Expect some crazy things coming from them!
So when is the full game coming out?
I'll just say it: the full game is NOT COMING OUT THIS YEAR. Despite having lots of stuff done, I'm only halfway through development, and there's still much to do. So, a 2024 release date is out of possibility.
Don't worry, though! There's still a big project coming this year that I think most of you will enjoy.
The problem with the OST
I've already talked about this before, but now I have more information about the situation that I feel I need to share. The demo's soundtrack is being copyright claimed on YouTube. Whether you'll receive a claim for having a song from the game in your video is out of my control. However, I am currently working on a way to actively remove these claims.
I will soon release a post detailing what to do when your YT video gets claimed because of my music. Sorry for all this; hopefully, this will be fixed soon.
On a brighter note, I've got a lot of new music done for the game. Yet, I am not even halfway done with all the tracks I want to add to the game, so expect a 2+ hour long OST when the full game comes out.
Thank you!
Last but not least, I want to thank you guys for all the support you gave to the demo, it's seriously really uplifting seeing all the attention you've given to this mess of a game, so thank you, I really appreciate it!
