Tiny Devlog for The Awakening!

(plus, yet again five updated gameplay screenshots)

I just wanna start off by once again thanking @Bisctard , @TheresNoSteak , @SillyKat and @Mr_Malos for taking the time to test out the game to see how it ran. Surprisingly, it ran really well for all of them, but regardless I did a lot of work to heavily optimize the animatronics for the 3D scenes of the game, and from what I've noticed, there's been a pretty nice performance improvement, which is great news! Had it not been for them, a lot of hard work would have gone down the drain and I would have started over from scratch with new tools. That would've been very beneficial to me though, but I can always do that with a different game project.

As of lately, development has been going really well and I'm looking forward to seeing people's reactions to this thing. It's easily my best work yet, and I'm really happy that I'm able to revisit The Awakening and give it the polish and additions it absolutely needed.

I'm trying my best to get it out this year, but still, I can't guarantee anything! There's still so much to do. Fingers crossed it all continues to go well.

Anyway, have five new screenshots of the game. I know I already did this not too long ago, but there's been some tiny and nice changes I've made as of recently!

Decided to install Unreal Engine 4 and uninstall 5.

My computer does not sound like it is going to the moon.

My knowledge from UE5 appears to work in it, though I am aware there are differences in things.

I think I made a good decision tbh.
