SHOWMAN'S: The Calling

Tiny little update for you all!

It's been over a whole month since The Awakening's anniversary, and since then I've been pretty quiet, and I'm sure plenty of you are wondering why.

First off, there's nothing to worry about! Nothing's delayed or cancelled or anything.

I've been trying my hardest to stay focused on development for Long Hours while also going about my daily personal life and all that fun/boring stuff, but also, I think I'm actually getting somewhere with another game project of mine I have mentioned before, and it's one I'm really passionate about and also one I'm really looking forward to continuing.

It's all still in its infancy, but it'll likely be one of the biggest games I'll have ever developed. I have many ideas for it and it's been an absolute blast just to think about, and I can't wait to make those ideas into a reality. I'll likely share more of it later down the road once development becomes steadier and once there's more progress done.

Of course, however, Long Hours is my current focus right now and my highest priority since I know you guys are looking forward to it and also because I want to continue developing it myself. It's looking great so far!

I can't wait to show you more of Long Hours later this October in the Fangame Direct! See you there!

Giving Unreal Engine 4 another shot with a much more open mind so I don't fall into Tutorial Hell and get discouraged. So far so good! Feel quite a bit more confident in using it as of right now.

Have a sneak peak at Showman's redesign and massive texture improvement!

The redesigns will be used in the future projects going forwards, including a "2.0" edition of The Awakening, which is possible to happen sometime after SHOWMAN'S: Helen releases!

new and improved.

Happy birthday @itsizsgames !!!

I didn't want to miss the opportunity on drawing something for you, this is a little rushed sadly

While I haven't fully started changing Long Hours to be a part of Showman's just yet (that'll happen after The Awakening releases), I figured it would be fun to share something new in the meantime!

Also, thank you all for the birthday wishes!

A joke I made with @Sillylilman that turned into a good idea for a drawing

Phobia: Long Hours' trailer has well over 100,000 views!

Also, Long Hours' game page has begun the process of being changed to be part of Showman's now! It'll stay like this for a while, but in the future some new and exciting stuff should pop up!

January 14th, 2008…

SHOWMAN! 1!1!1!

3,000 followers is actually insane. I wouldn't have made a decade old series of shitposts into something genuinely so cool nowadays without you guys.

Phobia: The Awakening's 5th anniversary is on August 27th.
