To update, I now have a pretty clear, concise idea of the engine I intend to use (It'll be one of two I think). I simply am awaiting the engine's completion now(It's very close to completion btw) and still am doing other work on this game in the meantime.

Hello, it's been quite a bit of time since I updated on this game (busy with many different irl things atm). But here's a short video giving a bit of sneak peak / showcase of some of what will be present in this upcoming game.
So I have good news...and even more good news. First off, the title of this game, it's The Shapeshifting Horror: A Sonic Horror Story. And second...a playable demo is now out of the game for you to play. Have fun.
