This mini-post is dedicated to the birthday of DoctorTale team member, Alexander Andreev – a programmer, partly a spriter and chief assistant to the project director. He’s 18 today, and I’d like to congratulate him publicly. In the future, if there are other people working on the project, I'd like to make this format traditional, but at this moment there are only two of us, which, nevertheless, doesn’t prevent me from doing this now.

I wish Ksan strength, perseverance, determination, self-confidence, more positivity and to remain the same dreamer and friendly that he’s now. He helped both friends and those he first saw more than once, and he was never indifferent when one of his friends had problems. He always tries to support and help them, plus he’s open to everything new. He’s kind and honest, never angry, swearing or aggressive – he’s always nice and friendly. He’s creative, a good programmer, he has a lot of great ideas and interests, he’s already a good spriter and writer, and he’s basically an amazing guy. He doesn’t stop growing above himself and developing, which’s commendable, but sometimes he lacks determination hasn’t a necessary kick to take a step forward to fulfill his dreams or desires. I hope that in the future he'll be able to create not only fan games, but also his own stories that'll be as good as his fan projects, do what he really likes, not what he has to do, and at the same time be prepared to confront difficulties and injustice. Well, I wish him more confidence, not to think he’s a loser and fortune doesn’t sympathize with him. She likes everyone, you just need to be more careful, attentive and look under your feet so you don’t fall into another hatch in the floor. But even if you fell, then let there be friends next to you who can throw you a rope, along which you can climb back up. Let him not rest on his achievements and never give up, because everything he does is working, and also adopt the phrase:

The obstacles aren’t stumbling blocks, but stepping stones on the way to a better life.

Good luck to him in everything: endeavors, deeds, friendships, love etcetera.

He’s currently working on StorySpin and sometimes on SwapFell, translating songs from Japanese and drawing new art, so expect it to work. What about DT. It’s hard to work on the game right now because I have not the easiest period in life, but it’s not as critical as it might to be. The most important thing is that I started looking for a part-time job as a pixel animator, so there’s not much time for other things now, BUT I promise that from next week I’ll return to the DT script. Thank you for your patience (if you are still there), we still have work to do.
