<Dev Update: 1> Today's progress


Today, I made some small steps towards finishing this project up, this includes

  • Adding multi-directional rotation to the players' starship

  • Adding highscore functionality

  • Fixing a strange issue causing bullets to not get destroyed upon impact

Planned additions include, but may not be limited to:

  • Multi-player

  • Ship upgrades

  • Power-ups

  • Leaderboards

  • In-game achievements

  • Twitch integration

    I've also been tossing around the idea of including an "Invasion" mode, essentially seamlessly blending Space Invaders with the multi-directional gameplay of Asteroids- if you want to see this, tell me in the comments!

Working on a sans sprite rn- this is a VERY early preview, it is nowhere near done yet lol, still some things I need to add, and improve on, like the scarf, the shoulder pads and making his jacket more of a hoodie/armor hybrid
