lorem will be a bit different than other games i've made in that the game's soundscape takes a more valve-like approach
the background sounds are mostly ambience with the more "musical" tracks being restricted to amplifying key moments, like when the player first leaves belle's house and sees the town
music is also very rarely looped unless the scene the track is used in is way longer than the track itself
Next up
going crazy with lighting effects
here have some man made horrors beyond comprehension :3
imagine there's a joke scene in the game where you accidentally step on a roach or something and this plays as the game congratulates you
*drops this on the ground and scurries away*
gonna catch myself lacking in a year
experimenting with visualizers again, also this is my first song of 2026
i swear i'll stop with the low effort ms paint drawings
people who say "just look at it" when you ask why they don't like something piss me off
NO LITTLE TIMMY, IF I SAW THE PROBLEM WITH WHAT I WAS DOING I WOULDN'T HAVE FUCKING DONE IT THAT WAY IN THE FIRST PLACE
here's this side path that looks cool to go for after you come back through this room
